The Bulk House／专访Vol.1 | 台湾的零浪费生活什么样？《我家没垃圾》译者来做客！
Hi there beautiful you! Welcome to my blog: No Waste Apartment.
My name is Jie (sounds just like “J" instead of “G" ) Shang or simply Jessica, based in Taichung, Taiwan.
In 2018, I graduated with a double major in traditional Chinese medicine and medicine (after eight long years!). I got married in February this year, and together with my husband, we are now settled in this small but spacious enough apartment where all the magic happens (well the zero-waste kind, not the fertility kind, yet)! I would preferably describe myself as a zero waste practitioner, and it’s been more than a year since I’ve transitioned to a lifestyle of simplicity and zero-waste (or low-impact, in case you struggled with the “zero" literally). I’m also the translator of the complex Chinese version of Zero Waste Home by Bea Johnson. She is the one who inspired me to start the whole journey, and if you are interested in knowing how I got to translate this book (with zero-experience in translating) and the story behind, click here (Reminder: it’s in Chinese). It is my great enthusiasm to share my zero waste journey in my native language here at No Waste Apartment. So hop on the train! You’re very welcome to sit next to me!
